Departments should prioritize areas for maximum financial assistance from NABARD – Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Mumbai: For the development of the state, various projects and schemes need financial assistance. For this, more and more financial assistance is required from NABARD. For this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray directed various departments of the state to fix the priority of the areas related to them.
A delegation of senior officials led by NABARD President Dr GR Chintala called on Chief Minister Mr Thackeray. The Chief Minister was speaking during the meeting.
Chief Minister Mr Thackeray said, “Important schemes and projects in the state need financial assistance. It also requires coordination between NABARD and various departments. In order to get financial assistance from NABARD for infrastructure and various schemes and projects in the state, a priority plan and a definite plan should be prepared. For this, coordination should be maintained with senior NABARD officials. ‘
Discussions were also held on various projects to tackle environmental change, including areas with priority financial assistance from NABARD, water resources, road construction, agriculture, co-operation, women empowerment, self-help groups, agricultural exports.
