District level 4th ‘Khelo India’ youth sports competitions organized.
Pune: Under the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Pune, District Sports Council, District Sports Officer’s Office and Pune District Kabaddi Association, District Kho-Kho Association, District Basketball Association, Maharana Pratap Sangh jointly organized the fourth district level ‘Khelo India’ for boys and girls under 18 years. A youth sports competition has been organized.
Kabaddi competitions will be held from November 23 to 24 for girls under 65 kg and under 18 years and for boys under 70 kg and under 18 years from November 25 to 26. The girls are scheduled to be present on November 23 and the boys on November 25 at 8 a.m. The weight will be from 8 to 9 p.m. The selection test for girls will be held on November 24 and for boys on November 26 at 12 noon at Nehru Stadium, the stadium of Pune District Kabaddi Association.

The Kho-Kho Games for girls under 18 years of age will be held from November 23 to 24 and for boys from November 24 to 25. She is scheduled to attend the girls ‘competition on November 23 and the boys’ competition on November 24 at 8 am. The selection of girls will be held on November 24 and the selection of boys will be held on November 25 at 12 noon at Sanmitra Sangh Maidan Kridamaharshi Haribhau Sane Sports Complex Kothrud.

Only girls under 18 will compete in basketball from November 25 to 28, 2021. Attend the Deccan Gymkhana Club on November 21 at 8 am for the draw of the competition. The deadline for entrants is November 21 at 10.30 pm and should be sent to the email address secretarypdba78@gmail.com. The player must be born on or after January 1, 2003, and be under 18 years of age. Players will need to have an Aadhaar card, Class X pass certificate, birth certificate. It will be mandatory for the identity card to have the registration number, sports, age group as well as recent photograph along with the signature and stamp of the school, college or sports body.
Kabaddi, Kho-Kho sports competitions will be held on the clay ground. Team players appearing for the competition and selection test should be present along with the entry forms and other documents. Kabaddi or Kho-Kho teams should consist of 12 players. At least 10 of them will be in attendance. Players are required to wear the uniform of the game while playing the tournament and cannot participate without it.
No certificate of any kind will be given to the players participating in this competition and selection. Accommodation, meals and travel expenses are to be borne by the team and players. Teams or players selected late for the tournament will not be considered.
Players from the Pune district will be able to participate in the district level competition and participating players will not be able to participate in the competition or selection test from other teams or from other districts. If this is observed during the tournament, the players and the team concerned will be banned for 3 years. Therefore, the team and the players should take note that they will not be able to participate in any other organization or government competition.
District Sports Officer Rajesh Bagul has appealed to the maximum number of teams and players to participate in the district level competition and selection test and to be present for the district level competition with the required documents.
