District level Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Planning Committee meeting concluded.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will be implemented across the country from 1st to 31st October 2021 on the occasion of the nectar anniversary of Indian Independence. During this period, a meeting of the district level Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Planning Committee was organized at the Collectorate under the chairmanship of Resident Deputy Collector Himmat Kharade for planning the campaign in the Pune district.
Deputy Director and Special Operations Officer of Nehru Youth Center Yashwant Mankhedkar, Regional Director of National Service Scheme D Karthikeyan, District Administration Officer and Nodal Officer of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Chandrakant Khose and representatives of various NGOs and members of the committee were present on the occasion.
Along with the district administration, people’s representatives, students of Rashtriya Seva Yojana and various NGOs will participate in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. It was informed that every day in the month of October, various programs will be implemented in the rural areas in the district along with Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
