Union Minister of State for Health Dr Bharti Pawar visits Pune Municipal Corporation.

Minister of State for Health reviewed corona preventive measures.

Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr Bharti Pawar visited Pune Municipal Corporation today.  She reviewed the work done by the municipality during the Corona period and the preventive measures for a possible third wave of Corona. After that, while talking to reporters, Dr Pawar said that Pune Municipal Corporation has done a great job during the Covid period through the Urban Poor Scheme. Other Municipal Corporations in the state should implement such a scheme. Good health facilities were provided to the patients by setting up the ‘Jumbo’ Covid Center. Due to the effective awareness created by the corporation about the covid vaccine, a large number of vaccinations were carried out. Also, the Pune Municipal Corporation helped the employees who died due to corona from its own budget. Pawar congratulated PMC.

The second wave of corona in the country is not over yet. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is monitoring the situation. The Minister of State for Health, Dr Pawar said this at the time. The central government has come up with various measures to deal with the possible third wave of corona and efforts are being made to build infrastructure for corona treatment in the district.
