Everyone should contribute to making the youth self-reliant – Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
The Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, appealed to the youth at the grassroots level to benefit from the various schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to make a significant contribution to make India self-reliant.
He was speaking on behalf of Deepali Syed Charitable Trust at a function held at Diplakshmi Mangal Karyalya, Kavthepiran Road, Kasbe Digraj to distribute a fixed deposit certificate of Rs 50,000 to 1,000 girls from flood-hit families. On this occasion Union Minister of State for Panchayat Raj Kapil Patil, Minister of Water Resources and Guardian Minister of Sangli District Jayant Patil, MP Sanjay Patil, MP Dhairyashil Mane, Disaster Management Chairman Daulat Shitole, Mayor of Sangli, Miraj and Kupwad Municipal Corporation Digvijay Suryavanshi, District Collector Dr Abhijeet Chaudhary, District Police Superintendent Dixit Gedam, Trust President Deepali Syed-Bhosale, Additional Superintendent of Police Manisha Dubule, Pratandhikari Dr Sampat Khilari, Rupali Chakankar Planning Committee members Prithviraj Patil and Sanjay Bajaj were present.
Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari said, “Nature is testing everyone in times of calamity. In this time, everyone should be patient and give a helping hand to each other.” The tradition of social work in India is very ancient. People who walk on the path of honour are carrying on this tradition of philanthropy uninterruptedly. Deepali Syed Bhosale’s work is related to this tradition and the work being done through his trust is very Pune. Their energy to help the affected area is commendable. Saying that everyone should use the resources they have for good work, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari wished that the work of Deepali Syed-Bhosale should be glorified at the level of the Maharashtra Government as well. This time, he congratulated the married couple in a community wedding ceremony. Also distributed daughter assistance deposit certificate in a representative manner.
On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Panchayat Raj Kapil Patil said that the work of Deepali Syed-Bhosale to love people by using money wisely is highly commendable. He said that a review meeting would be held to focus on publishing the list of D-1s in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Gharkul Yojana and to improve the NDRF criteria for disaster victims.
The work of Deepali Syed-Bhosale Charitable Trust to provide relief to the families in the flood-affected areas by the Guardian Minister Jayant Patil is commendable. After the flood, many people’s worlds are destroyed, life becomes difficult. This episode has experienced 3 to 4 such incidents so far. Deepali Syed-Bhosale said that he was grateful for the help given to such victims. Informing Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari about the frequent floods in Sangli district, Guardian Minister Jayant Patil said that the Water Resources Department was working on permanent flood relief measures. He also requested the Governor to visit the place where the fort is being developed for tourism.
