Extension for International Sports University Symbol Competition
Entries can be submitted till December 9.
Pune: The competition announced by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services has been extended to create an attractive and relevant logo of the International Sports University of Maharashtra. Entries for the competition can be submitted till December 9, 2021.
The competition was earlier announced by the Directorate in August 2020. Out of the 400 entrants, the competition has been re-announced as none of the symbols fit the criteria. The logo for the competition was to be submitted by November 1. The deadline will be extended till December 9.
The objectives, goals and vision of the Sports University must be taken into account while designing the logo. In order to make progress in the field of sports through skilled manpower, science and technology, various courses are being started at the International Sports University at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Balewadi. As Maharashtra International Sports University is being held for the first time in India, it will get worldwide fame. Considering these factors, the logo of the university must be attractive. The rules and regulations of the logo competition are given on the government’s website http://sports.maharashtra.gov.in. Commissioner Omprakash Bakoria has appealed to the people to participate in the competition in greater numbers.
