Extension in submitting caste validity certificate to candidates for Municipal, Municipal Council elections.
Covid-19 caused administrative challenges and difficulties; In such a scenario, the Cabinet today approved to extend the provision for submission of Caste Validity Certificate till December 31, 2022, so that the candidates do not have to be deprived of the opportunity to contest for the reserved posts due to non-issuance of Caste Validity Certificate in time.
