Extensive vaccination campaign for college students – Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant.

Mumbai: On the background of Covid, colleges were started online for the last several days, now they are being started offline. Students who have received two doses of the covid vaccine will be able to attend offline. For this, a comprehensive campaign will be implemented for the vaccination of college students, informed the Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Uday Samant.
Mr Samant was speaking at an event organized at Sydenham College, Mumbai to welcome and interact with students.
Higher and Technical Education Minister Shri Samant said that a comprehensive campaign for vaccination of college students will be implemented by holding a meeting with the Health Department under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. He also said that the campaign would ensure that vaccines would be made available to every college student.
Mr Samant said students who have taken two doses of the covid vaccine. They should maintain this social distance, wear masks and attend class. Colleges should also try to allay the fears of students and parents.
While interacting with the students, Mr Samant guided the students on various topics such as National Education Policy, Online-Offline Exams, Post Corona Job Opportunities. He visited every classroom of the college and inspected the preparations made by the colleges for the safety of the students and instructed them to take necessary measures.
Higher and Technical Education Minister Mr Samant felicitated and welcomed the students. After that, the principal and non-teaching staff were felicitated. The event was attended by Madhuri Kagalkar, Principal, Sydenham College, Dr Sonali Rode, Co-Director, Department of Higher Education and students.
