Review meeting on women’s financial literacy training program.
Under the financial training program, women, farmers and small traders in self-help groups should be trained in coordination with various agencies, said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
He was speaking at a review meeting on women’s financial literacy training program under Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office. MP Supriya Sule, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil, Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Ayush Prasad, PMRDA Chief Executive Officer Suhas Divase, Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission Chief Executive Officer Dr Hemant Vasekar, Shrikant Karegaonkar of Agrani Bank etc. were present.
He also said that the training literature should include comprehensive information in simple language. Pawar said. It was informed that training materials and booklets would be prepared under the training program and board wise training would be imparted to women, farmers and small traders.
