Flipkart’s expansion of projects in the state will increase employment, investment – Industry Minister Subhash Desai.
The expansion of Flipkart in the e-commerce sector will complement the industrial development of the state, which will create a lot of jobs and increase investment, said Industry Minister Subhash Desai.
While Covid has stalled the expansion of many industries for the last one and a half years, Flipkart overcame this crisis and expanded its project. This matter is important for the progress of the state. The step taken by Flipkart to take the state forward in the industry is certainly commendable. This will increase the flow of investment and provide a lot of employment to the unemployed youth, said Mr Desai.
The project has been expanded at Bhiwandi and Nagpur. The project has been expanded to meet the growing demand of the customers and to supply the goods on time. The project has been started on an area of about seven lakh square feet at Bhiwandi. This will provide employment opportunities to four thousand people. The second project will be at Nagpur.
This will open up the market for local traders, vendors and small and medium enterprises in the state, said Rajneesh Kumar, senior executive, Flipkart.
