For Pune Municipal Corporation’s ‘Dedicated Covid Hospital’ at Baner, a gift of essential medical equipment from Pune City Connect. 

In response to the Corporation’s call for help in coping with the Covid-19 epidemic, Pune City Connect has provided 5 BIPAP Units, 5 oxygen concentrators, 20 Semi Fowler beds and 15 ICU beds to Baner Dedicated Covid Hospital under CSR. All these types of equipment are inspected by Pune Municipal Corporation

Municipal Commissioner (h), Mrs Rubal Agarwal. She said, “The Pune Municipal Corporation is taking priority steps to prepare for the possible third wave of Covid-19. The Pune Municipal Corporation is constructing infrastructures like ventilators, ICU beds and oxygen plants for the treatment of Covid-19 infected patients. In this regard, Pune Municipal Corporation has prepared a detailed plan. The administration is working at various levels to get financial support for this scheme. ”

Today, on 23rd June 2021, along with the Additional Municipal Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, Smt. Rubal Agarwal, the City Engineer of Pune Municipal Corporation, Mr Prashant Waghmare and the Chairman of Pune City Connect, Dr Ganesh Natarajan, Chief Executive Officer of Pune City Connect, Mrs Ruchi Mathur and other dignitaries were present at Baner Covid Hospital. 

Pune City Connect Chairman Dr Ganesh Natarajan said, “We are happy to be able to participate in this work of Pune Municipal Corporation.” It is noteworthy that Pune Municipal Corporation and Pune City Connect have been working together at the community level and for the socio-economic development of the citizens through online education. 

To date, 14,886 citizens have benefited from the ‘LightHouse’ project. More than 50,000 citizens have benefited from the digital empowerment project. We would like to thank all the friends and well-wishers in India and Asia, as well as the Pune-Austin Sister City group, for their support. ”

महानगरपालिकेने कोविड-१९च्या महामारीशी सामना करण्यासाठी मदत करण्याच्या आवाहनाला प्रतिसाद म्हणुन, पुणे सिटी कनेक्ट संस्थेने सी.एस.आर.अंतर्गत बाणेर डेडीकेटेड कोविड रुग्णालयाला 5 BIPAP Units, 5 oxygen concentrators, 20 Semi Fowler beds आणि 15 ICU बेड्स उपलब्ध करून दिले आहेत. सदर या सर्व उपकरणांची पाहणी पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या मा.अतिरिक्त

महापालिका आयुक्त (ज), श्रीमती रुबल अग्रवाल यांनी केली. या संगी त्या म्हणाल्या कि, “पुणे महानगरपालिका Covid-19 च्या संभाव्य तिसऱ्या लाटेच्या पूर्वतयारीसाठी प्राधान्याने पावले उचलत आहे. पुणे महानगरपालिका Covid-19 बाधित रुग्णांवर उपचारासाठी व्हेंटिलेटर, आयसीयू बेड आणि ऑक्सिजन प्लांट सारख्या पायाभूत सुविधांची उभारणी करत आहे. यासंदर्भात पुणे महानगरपालिकेने एक सविस्तर योजना तयार केली आहे. या योजनेसाठी आर्थिक पाठबळ मिळावे म्हणुन प्रशासन विविध पातळीवर कार्यरत आहे.”

आज दिनांक 23 जून 2021 रोजी पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या मा.अतिरिक्त महापालिका आयुक्त श्रीमती रुबल अग्रवाल यांचेसह पुणे महानगरपालिकेचे शहर अभियंता श्री.प्रशांत वाघमारे तसेच पुणे सिटी कनेक्टचे चेअरमन डॉ. गणेश नटराजन, पुणे सिटी कनेक्टच्या मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी, श्रीमती रुची माथुर व इतर मान्यवर बाणेर कोविड हॉस्पिटलमध्ये उपस्थित होते.

पुणे सिटी कनेक्ट चे चेअरमन डॉ. गणेश नटराजन म्हणाले, पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या या कार्यामध्ये आम्ही सहभागी होऊ शकलो याचा आम्हाला आनंद होत आहे. पुणे महानगरपालिका व पुणे सिटी कनेक्ट यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने वस्ती पातळीवर तर नागरिकांच्या आर्थिक सामाजिक विकासाचे काम कोविड काळातही ऑनलाईन शिक्षण पद्धती द्वारे सुरू आहे हे उल्लेखनीय आहे. 

‘लाईट हाऊस’प्रकल्पाचा लाभ आजपर्यंत १४,८८६ नागरिकांनी घेतला आहे. तर ५०,००० पेक्षा जास्त नागरिक डिजिटल सक्षमीकरण प्रकल्पाचे लाभार्थी झाले आहेत. ही मदत उभारण्यासाठी भारतातील, आशिया खंडातील मित्र-हितचिंतकांनी तसेच पुणे-ऑस्टिन सिस्टर सिटी या गटाने आम्हाला मदत केली त्या सर्वांना आम्ही धन्यवाद देतो.”
