Government’s attempt to facilitate industry and business – Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat.
Pune: Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat stated that the government is trying to reduce the number of licenses required for setting up industries and businesses.
He was speaking on behalf of the Maratha Entrepreneurs Association at Yerawada on the occasion of felicitation of dignitaries who have done remarkable work during the Corona period as well as in other fields. Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Solapur Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Satpute, Additional District Collector Vijay Singh Deshmukh, Symbiosis Director Vidya Yerawadekar, Municipal Corporation City Engineer Prashant Waghmare, Maratha Entrepreneurs Association President Ankush Asbe, Secretary Sagar Tupe and Sangram Deshmukh were present on the occasion.
Mr Thorat said that the cooperative sector has played a major role in the development of Maharashtra. Similarly, the government is trying to facilitate the industry and business sector to make similar progress. Efforts are being made at the government level to bring flexibility in the number of licenses required for this as well as in other matters. Said Thorat.
He further said that work is underway to keep the common man at the centre through the revenue department. Many important changes have been made along with online seventeen, online modification, e-crop survey.
He also said that the government is working to ensure that the government’s plans reach the last element of society.
