Government’s decision to reduce fees by 15% for the 2021-22 academic year.
The total fee fixed for the academic year 2021-22 should be reduced by 15%. Such a ruling has been issued. The schools of all boards and all mediums have been instructed accordingly as a matter of time for the academic year 2021-22.
In most parts of the state too, schools have been closed for a long period since March 2020 and students are being imparted online education, which has resulted in the non-utilization of some educational facilities by the students in the state. The decision has been taken against this background and considering the order passed by the Supreme Court.
Ruling
The total fee fixed for the academic year 2021-22 should be reduced by 15%.
For parents who have already paid the full fee, the additional fee should be adjusted by the school management in the next month or quarterly instalment or next year or refund the fee if it is not possible to adjust the fee in this way.
In case of any dispute regarding the deducted fee, such dispute shall be referred to the concerned Divisional Fees Regulatory Committee or Government Resolution no. Complaint-2020 / Q.No.50 / SD-4, dated 26th February 2020 should be submitted to the Divisional Grievance Redressal Committee and the decision was taken by the Divisional Fee Regulatory Committee or the Divisional Grievance Redressal Committee shall be final.
The school management should not prevent any such student from taking an education or sitting for exams directly or online or even withholding the results of such students as the student did not pay the school fees, arrears during the Covid-19 epidemic.
These orders will apply to all boards, all medium schools. These orders will take effect immediately.
