Municipal oxygen project in final stage. Possibility of test on Wednesday.

Pune, dt. 4 – In order to fill the oxygen shortage in the hospitals, the Municipal Corporation has set up a project to produce three tons of oxygen per day at Dalvi Hospital in Shivajinagar in just eight days. The project is in the final stages and is expected to be tested on Wednesday. The project will then start in the next two days. Initially, 850 liters of oxygen will be produced per nit. Therefore, the patients of Dalvi system will benefit from this.
Considering the shortage of oxygen created for the treatment of corona sufferers, the Municipal Corporation decided to set up a three tonne oxygen production plant per day. For that
It was decided to raise funds from CSR. The construction of the project was undertaken with the administrative approval of the Standing Committee with immediate help from the companies. The first project with a capacity of 850 liters per minute is ready and the required part will come. Oxygen production will be tested on Wednesday immediately after it is added. At the same time, another project with a capacity of 850 liters per minute will be started in the next eight days, the administration said

Shiv Sena’s advice not to wait for government to buy vaccines.

The city Shiv Sena has demanded from Commissioner Vikram Kumar that the city should buy vaccines worth Rs 200 crore without waiting for the vaccine from the government. It has been demanded that if funds are required for this, unnecessary work should be stopped immediately. The statement was made on behalf of city chief Gajanan Tharkude, Sanjay More, liaison chief Shyam Deshpande and Prashant Badhe. Although development work is important in the city at present, it is the primary responsibility of the Municipal Corporation to save the lives of the citizens and keep the public health in good condition. Therefore, Shiv Sena has demanded that the Municipal Corporation should immediately purchase 200 crore worth of vaccines by stopping unnecessary development works.

The instructions given by the District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh for the pre-monsoon work have been done.                                                

Pune, dt. 4: District Collector and Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh has instructed to complete the necessary and pre-preparation works before the monsoon by coordinating all the agencies in the mitigation work in case of possible emergency in the district.

 The State Government has enacted the Indian Contagious Diseases Control Act 1897 in the State with effect from 13th March 2020 to prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus and has issued a notification for its implementation as per its provisions. According to the order dated 29/04/2021 issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra from 1 May 2021 to 15 May 2021, the lockdown has been carried out to take preventive measures to break the chain of Kovid 19 infection. As it was not possible to call the department officials and department heads for the pre-monsoon meeting in the background of Corona, all the concerned officers, and department heads have been instructed to complete all the pre-monsoon preparations before the monsoon.

Department of Irrigation

All dams in the district should be reviewed and a report should be submitted in terms of dam safety. To determine the plan to be taken after the rise in water level. E.g. A survey should be done for that. The Irrigation Department should take precautions to prevent catastrophes like Mutha canal in Janata Vasahat in the Pune district. Disaster Management Plan of Irrigation Department and Small Irrigation Zilla Parishad Pune should be prepared in eight days and submitted with updated information.  Class 2 officers for the monsoon period for the District Control Room should be appointed by the Board of Superintending Engineers Irrigation from 1st June till the end of the monsoon period. Vehicles with independent drivers from your department should be provided in the district control room for the rainy season. Access to dangerous places should be ensured by coordinating with the concerned department (Police, Public Works Department, Forest Department, Archeology Department). Similarly, boards should be put up at tourist places and on the way. Widespread publicity should be given in the local newspapers about the places of danger.

Public Works Department / Construction Department, Zilla Parishad Pune Division

To update the information of Disaster Management Cell online. Dangerous bridges in the Pune district should be inspected before the monsoon. Structural audit of old buildings/fences in the district should be done before monsoon. There should be coordination between your office officers, tehsildars, group development officers, police inspectors. E.g. If a tree falls on the road, immediate action should be taken.  All sidewalks should be filled before the monsoon.

Activation of Mo-ya, which was closed due to excavation along the highway, to help carries rainwater. E.g. Khed Shivapur accident, emergency equipment used e.g. Bulldozers, water tankers, dumpers, earthmovers, dewatering pumps, generators, tree cutters, floodlights, R.C.C. A certificate of good condition of the vehicle should be obtained. This action should be taken immediately.

Health Department, Zilla Parishad, Pune

Establishment of a separate health cell for flood control and disaster management. In case of disaster, toll-free number 108 ambulances should be given to all departments. A list with the addresses and contact numbers of the Coordinating Officer and staff for disaster management should be given to the District Control Room. Measures should be taken to prevent the spread of epidemics during the rainy season. Information of primary health centers operating in different villages in case of disaster should be collected. Make sure that all the equipment, devices available near the primary health center are in good condition and in working condition. E.g. Ambulance, jeep, generator, etc. To set up a control room in the health center at the place of taluka headquarters, Immediate mobilization of local doctors or local volunteer organizations, etc. for emergency work.

District Superintendent Agriculture Department / Agriculture Department, Zilla Parishad, Pune

Since there should be coordination between Tehsildar and Taluka Agriculture Officer, Disaster Management Cell should be set up and a copy of the order should be submitted to the District Collector’s Office. Also, in the case of Halestorm, untimely rains, damage to crops and fruits should be completed and a report should be submitted to this office. The disaster management plan of the agriculture department should be prepared. The ideal table must be up to date. There should be coordination between talathis, gram sevaks, agriculture officers. Meetings of all taluka level departments should be held at the taluka level. A list of required materials, as well as available materials, should be prepared. Civil Protection Force / National Service Plan- Various pieces of training should be conducted through the Department of Civil Defense. Separate search and rescue groups should be set up through the National Service Plan. From June 1, Civil Defense personnel should be posted in the District Control Room.

Superintendent Engineer Urban and Rural Maharashtra State Electricity Board Pune

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company should set up a separate control room during the monsoon season. A nodal officer should be appointed in the control room and his name contact number should be given in the district control room. If excavation is done while laying underground power lines, the pits should be filled before the monsoon so that water does not seep into the society. In case of a power outage during a disaster, a well-equipped team should be ready for immediate repairs. A team should be appointed in the Disaster Management Cell of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Collectorate.
A disaster management plan should be prepared and submitted to the Collectorate.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam  Limited

To take action to make the information available free of cost to the citizens of the district by telephone if they need information in case of emergency.
Telephones should not be turned off during emergencies. Also, important telephone connections should not be cut off, Mobile towers should be equipped to establish communication systems in case of disaster. A plan should be implemented to establish contact by surveying the unconnected villages in the district.
A disaster management plan should be prepared and submitted to this office immediately.
A team of Communications Corporation of India Limited should be appointed to ensure that the telephones in the control rooms of various departments in the district are not turned off.

10 lakh 50 thousand 445 corona infected patients in Pune division are cured.

        Pune, dt. 4: 10 lakh 50 thousand 445 corona infected patients in Pune division have recovered and gone home and the number of corona infected patients in the division has increased to 12 lakh 35 thousand 405. The number of active patients is 1 lakh 61 thousand 494. A total of 23,466 patients died of coronary heart disease at a rate of 1.90 per cent. The recovery rate in Pune division is 85.03 per cent, informed Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao.

Pune District

            Out of the total 8 lakh 68 thousand 506 patients affected by Corona in Pune district, 7 lakh 57 thousand 820 patients have recovered and gone home. The active patient is 97 thousand 232. A total of 13,454 patients with coronary heart disease have died. The mortality rate is 1.55 per cent and the recovery rate is 87.26 per cent.
