Good News!  Vaccine for everyone above the age of  18+ from 1st May

In a much-awaited move, India has allowed Covid vaccination for all above 18 years of age starting from 1st May. The decision, take at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. In a departure from the current policy, the government has also allowed the state to procure additional vaccine doses directly from the manufactures.

Vaccine supply to open markets and industries has been permitted as well with conditions.  In fact, the government will allow the imported ready-to-use vaccines to entirely unlisted in the open market. While pricing arrangements have not been revealed, the latest announcement clubbed with the recent proposal to fast track clearances could attract a hos of foreign vaccine makers according to officials.

Serum, Bharat Biotech will get the supplier’s credit

Vaccine manufacturers Serum Institute of India(SII) and Bharat Biotech will together get Rs.4500 crore from the Center as supplier’s credit, sources in the know said. This will be upfront payment for the vaccine doses that these two companies will supply to the government. At Rs.150 per dose, excluding taxes, this roughly works out to be 300 million doses.  The department of Expenditure has agreed to relax the General Finacial Rules and permit the Ministry of Health to make any advance payment to the two vaccine manufactures without any bank guarantee.

Corona preventive vaccination center started in Fursungi.

Through the efforts of Zilla Parishad member Archana Praveen Kamthe, a free Corona Prevention Vaccination Center has been started in Fursungi village. Even though Fursungi village is not under the jurisdiction of Zilla Parishad, thanks to the special cooperation of Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Ayush Prasad and Zilla Parishad Health Chairman Pramod Kakade. More than 7,000 citizens in the area aged 45 years and frontline corona warriors have taken advantage of this since last month. Archana Kamthe and Praveen Kamthe have appealed to all citizens to get vaccinated and follow mask, social distance, and the rules set by the administration.

‘My Ward My Responsibility Campaign’ in Hadapsar.

Corporator Maruti Aba Tupe started drug spraying activity under the initiative ‘My Ward, My Responsibility On the seventh day of the campaign, Ganesh Park Ganesh Vihar Vishal Park Face One Face two Dhanlaxmi Kripa Shivshakti Apartment Sudip Building Binawat Township Nishikant Complex Sai Niwas Anurup Gurukrupa Ganesh Niketan Vishal Greens Vrindavan Society Durvankur Society Siddhivinaya Durvankur, Sasane Hingne Township area was disinfected. Also, the entire Hingane Mala Pandit Nehru Vegetable Market, Hadapsar Village, Amardham Cemetery Mahadev Mandir was disinfected at this time. Blood Donation camp by World Maratha Organisation

Blood Donation Camp was organized on behalf of the World Maratha Organization across the state to fill the existing shortage of blood. According to Rahul Jagtap, the head of the organization, Raj Deshmukh, Mate Mama, Hadapsar Regional Ward Committee Chairman Ganesh Dhore, Corporator  Maruti Tupe, Nitin Takle, Vijay More, Maratha Kranti Morcha, State Coordinator, Hanumantrao Mote, Mahesh Telepatil, Maratha Federation President, Gorakh Kamthe, Dhananjay Kamthe, Sanjay Shinde, Avadhut Suryavanshi Mukesh Wadkar Dhanraj Gawli Anil More Girish Dhore Rajesh Bhosale Santosh Harpale Prathamesh Jagtap Sopan Katke, etc. were present on this occasion. 230 blood donors donated blood in this camp Poona Blood Bank and social organizations participated and provided special assistance.

Publication of the book ‘Doctor Khajure – Karmayogi’

BJP corporator Maruti Aba Tupe said that Sidramappa Khajure, a doctor from Marathwada, who provides medical services for only five rupees, is a true angel for the poor people. In epidemics like Corona, d everyone loves doctors and feels they loved and cared for more than God. The book ‘Doctor Sidram Appa Karmayogi’, edited by journalist Dayanand Salunke, reviews the life and work of Dr. Sidramappa Khajure, a senior social worker and sanitation envoy. This book was published by Corporator Tupe. The book was published in the presence of Dr. Sidramappa Khajure Sanjay Shinde Nirmala Khajure Vasant Waghmare Vikas Kale Vasant Kabade Dayanand Kalunke Professor Manohar Ghodke Siddharth Kabade New Kabade Shashikant Kabade Vasant Kabade. 

At the reception, Dr. Khajure said that I have spent my life only for the service of society and the citizens.  I truly thank all of you for bringing this book to light
