The decision to provide free covid vaccine to all the people in the age group of 18 to 44 in the state was taken in the state cabinet meeting held today. After the meeting, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced this. The Chief Minister also clarified that the health department is planning for the vaccination program and the citizens will be informed about it in advance.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Thackeray said that we have been fighting the battle of Kovid for the last one and a half years. Vaccination has been started in the state since January in collaboration with the Center. To date, more than 1.5 crore people under the age of 45 have been vaccinated. This is a record in the country.
The vaccination program will be announced as per vaccine supply. Discussions have been held with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Health Minister Rajesh Tope, and all other key colleagues in this regard. The Chief Minister said that despite the current financial crisis in the state, the health of the citizens is the top priority and that is why the decision to provide free vaccines to all the people between the ages of 18 and 44 was taken at the state cabinet meeting.

9 lakh 64 thousand 313 corona infected patients in the Pune division were cured. -Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao
9 lakh 64 thousand 313 corona infected patients in the Pune division have recovered and gone home and the number of corona infected patients in the division has increased to 11 lakh 35 thousand 95. The number of active patients is 1 lakh 49 thousand 132. A total of 21,650 patients died of coronary heart disease, accounting for 1.91 percent. The recovery rate in the Pune division is 84.95 percent, informed Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao.
Pune District: Out of the total 8 lakh 8 thousand 220 patients affected by Corona in Pune district, 6 lakh 99 thousand 482 patients have recovered and gone home. The active patient is 96 thousand 222. A total of 12,516 patients have died of coronary heart disease. The mortality rate is 1.55 percent and the recovery rate is 86.55 percent.

Considering the problems of senior citizens, Corporator Pramodnana Bhangire has started this project and the response has been good. Vaccination of senior citizens and sick people has been started since March. Vaccination, however, appeared to be less popular than expected. Many senior citizens are unable to walk, get out of their vehicles and go to the vaccination center, so after realizing that many citizens are deprived of vaccines. Corporator Pramodnana Bhangire started this project. For this, volunteers have been made available at the vaccination center. If it is not possible to bring the senior citizens to the center, then the volunteers are doing the work of getting vaccinated in the vehicle and getting a good response for vaccination.
Despite wanting to register at the vaccination center, many senior citizens and senior citizens are facing difficulties as they are not able to walk.
