Sterling Hospital has done remarkable work during the Corona period. We have to give to society, the free camp organized by the hospital in this spirit; It is needed in today’s time. This is a commendable initiative and it will definitely benefit the needy, said Health Minister Rajesh Tope. 
He was speaking at the inauguration of a free artificial limb implant and telescope surgery camp at Nigdi on the occasion of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s birthday on behalf of Pune District Board of Education’s Ayurveda Hospital and Sterling Multispeciality Hospital.
MLA Anna Bansode, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Manchak Ipper, and Leader of Opposition Raju Misal were present on the occasion.
The Minister of Health, Mr. Tope, praised the work of the Board of Education, which was established in 1941. He further said that the emphasis of the institute is on imparting quality education. All the basic facilities are available in the organization and the work of the organization is going on in a very transparent manner. Mr. Tope further said that expert manpower is the backbone of the health department. The process of filling up the vacancies in the health department has started and the vacancies will be filled soon. The Department of Health has worked with the common man in mind during the Corona period. All medical facilities were made available to the common man at affordable rates. Emphasis on vaccination. He further said that there are still misconceptions about vaccination in rural areas so there is a need to spread awareness about vaccination.
