The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has permitted to start Chipi Airport in Sindhudurg district, said Uday Samant, Minister for Higher and Technical Education and Guardian Minister of Sindhudurg district at a press conference held at the Ministry.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) will conduct an awareness program on ‘Voter Systematic Education and Participation’ (SWEEP) in the state to disseminate election information to new voters. Since inclusive participation is the essence of democracy, it is necessary to work together to create awareness among the masses through the active participation of various elements such as government-semi-government departments, non-governmental organizations, autonomous organizations, youth, women, the disabled, third parties, rural-urban citizens, tribals and migrants. Around 90,000 patients use eSanjeevani Daily to seek Health Services Remotely.

 

eSanjeevani, Government of India’s National Telemedicine Service, has completed 1.2 crores (120 lakh) consultations rapidly shaping into the country’s most popular and the largest telemedicine service. Currently, the National Telemedicine Service is serving daily around 90,000 patients across the country signalling wide adoption by patients as well as doctors, and specialists across the country.

A high-level committee was formed to implement the ‘Sharad Shatam’ health cover insurance scheme for senior citizens.

To implement the ambitious plan of Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde to conduct health check-up of senior citizens above 65 years of age in the state at least once a year and to implement ‘Sharad Shatam’ health cover insurance scheme for them. As per Munde’s instructions, a high-level committee has been constituted by the social justice department of the state government.

A meeting on Universalisation of Quality Education through Digital Education

Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan held a meeting on the universalisation of quality education through digital education. Minister of State for Education Smt. Annapurna Devi, Smt Anita Karwal, Secretary, DoSE&L, Dr T.P. Singh, DG, BISAG-N, Shri Shashi S. Vempati, CEO, Prasar Bharati and other officials from the Ministry of Education were also present in the meeting.

Government Board of Diploma in Co-operation and Accounts (GDC & A. Board) And C.H.M. Exam 2020 was to be held on 22nd, 23rd and 24th May 2020. The examination was postponed due to a corona infection. The exam will be held on October 23, 24 and 25, 2021. Mahendra Magar, Secretary of the Board and Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies has informed.

Caste validity certificate should be obtained in time for local body elections – State Election Commissioner.

Candidates who want to contest the reserved seats in the local body elections in 2022 must get the caste certificate along with the Caste Validity Certificate on time to avoid the rush. State Election Commissioner UPS Madan has appealed to the concerned to fulfil this at the individual level from now on.

MoD signs a contract with Airbus Defence & Space.

Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed a contract with M/s Airbus Defence and Space, Spain for the acquisition of 56 C-295MW transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force, on September 24, 2021. The MoD has also signed an Offset Contract with M/s Airbus Defence and Space through which M/s Airbus will discharge its offset obligations through direct purchase of eligible products and services from Indian Offset Partners. These contracts were signed following the approval accorded by the Cabinet Committee on Security earlier this month.
