PM launches Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission through a video conference.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the campaign of strengthening health facilities that have been going for the last seven years is entering a new phase today. “Today we are launching a mission that has the potential of bringing a revolutionary change in India’s health facilities”, said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister underlined the fact that with 130 crore Aadhaar numbers, 118 crore mobile subscribers, about 80 crore internet users, about 43 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts, there is no such big connected infrastructure anywhere in the world. This digital infrastructure is bringing everything from ration to administration (Ration to Prashasan) to the common Indian in a fast and transparent manner. “The way technology is being deployed in governance reforms today is unprecedented”, said the Prime Minister.

Food traders are required to print the registration number on the sale payment
According to the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, from October 1, all food traders are required to print a 14-digit license or registration number on their sales payments.
The fourteen digit license or registration number indicates the unique identity of the food trader.
The customer can get information about the validity of the food trader’s license registration from the license or registration number on the website of the Food Safety and Standards Authority. If there is any complaint regarding the quality of food items, the consumer can lodge a complaint directly on the website of the Food Safety and Standards Authority from this license or registration number.

CM’s letter to PM regarding Mumbai to Hyderabad, Pune to Aurangabad high-speed railway line.
In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has requested the state government to extend full cooperation in speeding up the work of Mumbai-Nashik-Nagpur High-Speed Railway, but also to connect Mumbai to Hyderabad via Pune and Aurangabad via Jalna and Nanded.

A group of Deputy Chief Ministers and Finance Ministers has been set up under the chairmanship of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to suggest reforms in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system to make it easier and simpler. The same group of ministers will also monitor the implementation of the reforms recommended by the group of ministers and approved by the GST Council. The Union Finance Ministry has recently issued an order in this regard.

The state government has enacted the Public Service Rights Act, a revolutionary law for the benefit of the people and for the empowerment of the people. Chief Administrative Rights Commissioner Swadhin Kshatriya appealed to all the administrative bodies to implement this law effectively by providing facilities to the citizens within the stipulated time. He also said that the work done by the Pune district in online service while implementing the ideas fixed under the Service Guarantee Act is commendable.

India is expected to have nearly 20% elderly population i.e. over 300 million senior citizens by 2050. It is significant; as many countries have a population less than this number. This age group faces various mental, emotional, financial, legal and physical challenges, and the pandemic has further exacerbated it. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray suggested that Shirdi should be selected to develop a city with all facilities by developing the area around the airport and also to set up one of the best development centres in Maharashtra. He was speaking at a meeting of the board of directors of Maharashtra Airport Development Company today. This was the 76th meeting held in the committee room at Varsha. Area Around Shirdi Hub Airport will be known as ‘Asha’. Maharashtra Airport Development Company will carry out innovative and well-planned development of this area.

Ministry of Finance recommends holding clerical recruitments for Public Sector Banks in 13 Regional Languages along with Hindi and English
The Ministry of Finance, Government of India has recommended that going forward clerical recruitments for the twelve public sector banks and vacancies advertised henceforth, both Prelim & Main exams will be conducted in the 13 regional languages along with English & Hindi.
