India were 272 for three at the end of the first day’s play in the first Test between India and South Africa at Centurion today.
India’s opener KL Rahul scored a century today. He hit 16 fours off 248 balls. At stumps, Rahul was unbeaten on 122 and Ajinkya Rahane was unbeaten on 40. He shared a 73-run stand for the fourth wicket. Mayank Agarwal was dismissed for 60, Cheteshwar Pujara for zero and Virat Kohli for 35. South Africa’s fast bowler Engidi took all three wickets for 45 runs.
