Dubai: India beat Sri Lanka by nine wickets in the Asia Under-19 Cricket  Cup in Dubai. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. However, Sri Lanka fell in front of India’s penetrating bowling.

The match was played for 38 overs due to rain. Sri Lanka scored 106 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 38 overs. India’s Vicky Otswal took 3 wickets, Kaushal Tambe took 2 wickets and Rajwardhan, Ravi Kumar and Raj Bawa took one wicket each.

According to the Duckworth-Lewis rule, India was bowled out for 102 in 38 overs. India reached the target in 21 overs with 3 balls to spare and scored 104 runs for the loss of just one wicket.
