Innovative courses for the medical field should be started with priority – Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh.
Mumbai: It has been underlined that the medical sector in Maharashtra needs to be further expanded after Covid. Therefore, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences should give priority to innovative courses which are essential for the medical field, said Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh.
Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Lieutenant General Dr Madhuri Kanetkar paid a courtesy call on Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh at the Ministry today. Secretary of Medical Education Department Saurabh Vijay, Medical Education Commissioner Virendra Singh, concerned officers were present on this occasion.
During the visit, the Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences discussed various projects to be implemented by the University in the near future, future activities to be implemented for the students and courses required for the medical field after Covid. The future plan will be presented by the university soon, said Dr Kanetkar to the Medical Education Minister Mr Deshmukh.
