Inquiry into ‘Health Department Examination Case’ through Retired Chief Secretary – Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
Mumbai: The alleged misconduct for the posts of Group C and Group D of the Health Department will be investigated by the retired Chief Secretary and no examination fee will be charged from the candidates for re-examination, Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope said during Question Hour in the Legislative Council.
Leader of Opposition Praveen Darekar had raised the issue regarding the cancelled examinations of the health department. He was talking at the time.
Public Health Minister Mr Tope said that the role of the government is to fill 100% of the posts in the health department to strengthen the health system in the state. This recruitment process will be carried out in a transparent manner. Necessary improvements are being made for that. There will be changes in the examination system, online examination, the strategic decisions will be taken after careful consideration.
The prescribed procedure was followed while determining the institution for conducting the examination. All investigations were carried out according to the general administration criteria. Health Minister Shri Tope said that the concerned institutions are not on the black list.
An inquiry is underway into the exam and no one will be backed up. Strict action will be taken against the culprits. At the same time, Mr Tope said that the candidates will not have to pay the examination fee and there will be no financial burden on them.
