Maharashtra will be the first state in the country to become self-sufficient in oxygen – Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
In the second corona wave, the patient had to face various difficulties due to a lack of oxygen. Work is underway on the battlefield to ensure that each district becomes self-sufficient in oxygen so that there is no shortage of oxygen in the next possible third wave. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray expressed confidence that Maharashtra would be the first state in the country to become self-sufficient in oxygen.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was speaking at the inauguration of the Mira Bhayander Oxygen Project online.
The Thane district was the first to set up an oxygen project during the Corona period, making Thane the first district to become self-sufficient in oxygen.
The state government had earlier provided oxygen to Kovid Hospital. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also expressed confidence that no patient would be deprived of oxygen in the third possible wave, which can be seen in the previous corona wave.
The concept of a Corona-free village needs to be implemented on a large scale in the state. If everyone tries to keep their village Corona-free, Maharashtra will definitely be Corona-free, said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
