None of Barty’s plans will be discontinued, all plans will be more comprehensive.
Meeting soon to review Barty’s work.
A sum of Rs 91.50 crore has been disbursed to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI) and no scheme implemented through BARTI will be allowed to run out of funds, said Social Justice and Special Assistance Minister Dhananjay Munde.
A total of Rs. 90 crore has been disbursed for training programs and workshops to be implemented through BARTI and Rs. 1.5 crore for Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar National Memorial Maintenance Committee at Mahad.
There are reports in some media as well as on social media that Barty’s plans will be shut down, but there is no truth in this. Each of Barty’s schemes is for the welfare of students from the lower castes and neo-Buddhists. None of these schemes will be closed, on the contrary, steps are being taken to make all the schemes more comprehensive, said Mr Munde.
Knowing the present status of all the schemes, training programs, etc. being implemented by Barti, some new schemes are also being planned. A comprehensive meeting will be held at the Barti level soon. Munde has clarified.
Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde has thanked Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar for providing Rs 91.50 crore to Barty in the wake of Kovid’s financial crisis.
The Mahavikas Aghadi government has started a scheme through Barti to provide Rs 1 lakh with each to the students who have scored more than 90% marks in the Class X examinations for the next two years through Barti. Similarly, if some new schemes are introduced, some schemes are proposed and the funds of any scheme will not be affected and the funds will not be allowed to fall short anywhere, said Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde.
