Now learn Modi script online. Online Modi script training classes by the history department of Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Savitribai Phule Pune University and  The Department of History, initiate training in the program in Modi script and documentation. The training will be started from 1st June to 1 July. This year the training classes will be through zoom meetings,  because of the corona pandemic.   Dr. Girish Mandke from Deccan College will be the instructor of this class.

The minimum education requirement for this course is the student must have passed at least Class XII.  The duration of this course is 1 month and it will be from 6 to 8 pm except on weekends. The fee for this course is Rs.500. The medium of this course is Marathi and the last date for the application is 27th May 2021. Admission will be given on a first-come-first-served basis. Modi script documents have been lying in various offices in Maharashtra for many years. The number of students reading the Modi script is very low. This course has been started by the university with the objective of revealing the information in this document and not deleting the Modi script.

सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठाच्या  इतिहास विभागातर्फे  मोडी लिपी  आणि दस्तऐवजाच्या प्रशिक्षणाचा अभ्यासक्रम सुरु केला जातो .  या वर्षीही झूम मिटींगच्या द्वारे  वर्ग  १ जून  ते  १जुलै या कालावधीत सुरु होत  आहे.  डेक्कन कॉलेजमधील  डॉ गिरीश मांडके हे मोडीलिपीचे  तज्ज्ञ अभ्यासक हे या वर्गाचे प्रशिक्षक असतील.     

या अभ्यासक्रमासाठी किमान बारावी उत्तीर्ण असणे आवश्यक आहे. या अभ्यासक्रमाचा कालावधी १ महिन्याचा असून याची वेळ शनिवार व रविवार सोडून संध्याकाळी ६ ते ८ वाजेपर्यंत असेल. या अभ्यासक्रमाची फी  ५००रुपये आहे. या अभ्यासक्रमाचे माध्यम मराठी असून अर्ज करण्याची शेवटची तारीख २७ मे २०२१ पर्यंत आहे. विद्यार्थाना विद्यापीठातर्फे शैक्षणिक साहित्य दिले जाणार आहे. इच्छुक विद्यार्थयांनी पुढे दिलेल्या लिंक वर लॉग इन करून त्यांची माहिती द्यायची आहे.

या स्वयं निर्वाही अभ्यासक्रमात प्रथम येईल त्याला प्राध्यान्य या तत्वाने प्रवेश दिला जाणार आहे.  महाराष्ट्रामध्ये विविध कार्यालयात मोडी कागदपत्रे अनेक वर्षांपासून पडून आहेत. मोडी  लिपीचे वाचन करणाऱ्या अभ्यासकांची संख्या खुपच कमी आहे. या कागदपत्रामधील माहिती समोर यावी व मोदी लिपी लोप होऊ नये या उद्देशाने विद्यापीठाद्वारे हा अभ्यासक्रम सुरु करण्यात आला आहे.
