Organizing a trade festival to promote the development of the export sector.
The inauguration will be held at the hands of the Minister of Industry in the presence of the Union Minister of State for Railways.
A state-level ‘Commerce Festival’ conference has been organized to boost the development of the export sector. The two-day conference will be inaugurated at the World Trade Center in Mumbai on September 21 at 10.30 am in the presence of Union Minister of State for Railways, Coal and Mining Raosaheb Danve and Industry minister Subhash Desai. Minister of State for Industry Aditi Tatkare, Additional Chief Secretary of Industry Department Baldev Singh, Industry Development Commissioner Dr Harshdeep Kamble will be present.
“Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” – On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, “Commerce Week” is being celebrated by the Commerce Department of the Central Government from 20th to 26th September 2021. Under this, this conference has been organized. About 200 delegates from various fields will attend the conference. This will include entrepreneurs, office bearers of export steering councils, exporters, officials of various government departments.
The event is being organized under the auspices of the Department of Industries in collaboration with DGFT, a central government organization and through the Gems and Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
The program will include information on export opportunities in the state, infrastructure, banking and financial cooperation as well as opportunities in food, textiles, engineering, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, gems and jewellery, as well as panel discussions and exhibitions stalls.
