Pay attention to ensure that the people get the best health care – Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde’s appeal to the people’s representatives.
Pune: People’s representatives are expected to carry out development works related to roads, drinking water and sanitation in their areas; In the same way, special attention should be paid to ensure that the people get the best health care, said Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde. 
He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the new building of the Late Dasharath Baliba Bhangire Hospital of Pune Municipal Corporation at Mahammadwadi, Hadapsar, as well as the inauguration of various development, works in the area. Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, former Minister of State Vijay Shivtare, Sachin Ahir, former MP Shivajirao Adlrao Patil were present on the occasion.
Stating that the corporators should work from the point of view that we are the servants of the people, Minister Shinde said that the people’s representatives should work from the standpoint that it is their responsibility to solve the problems of the people. Understand people’s questions; For this, we should keep our sense of service alive, he said.
Stating that the crisis of Corona infection is not over yet, Minister Shinde said that the first wave of the Covid crisis was followed by the second wave. Now everyone needs to take care to wear masks, keep a safe distance, use sanitiser, wash their hands frequently to prevent the third wave of covid. He appealed to all to be vigilant and defeat Covid. Mr Shinde also said that the work of doctors, nurses, medical staff, police and other agencies during the Covid period was commendable as they provided excellent service to the citizens regardless of their own lives.
Corporator Pramod Bhangire gave information about Mahammadwadi and development works in the area.
During the program, Dr Dilip Mane, Dr Sachin Abne, Dr Mangesh Wagh, Dr Ashok Jain, Dr Raj Kodre, Dr Poonam Kodre, Dr Shruti Godbole, Dr Vandana Abne, Dr Manisha Sonawane, Dr Satish Sonawane, Dr Nitin Netke, Dr Sampat Dumbare Patil was honoured as a special Covid-19 warrior.
