Pedestrian Day was celebrated in Pune through Municipal Corporation.
On the occasion of Pedestrian Day on 11/12/2021, programs were organized at various places in Pune city through Pune Municipal Corporation.
Under the guidance of Hon’ble Murlidhar Mohol, Mayor of Pune, various activities for pedestrians were carried out in different parts of the city.
On this occasion, Hon’ble Mayor Shri Muralidhar Mohol said that although the pedestrian is a king, in reality, the condition of pedestrians is very bad. But due to our Pune guidelines, improvements have started.
Pedestrian Day should be celebrated all over the country to draw attention to the problems of pedestrians and to accelerate these reforms.
Pune is the first city in India to have such an initiative. Let’s hope that other cities will follow Pune’s example
