Preparations for Koregaon Bhima Vijayasthambh greeting program Review taken by the Commissioner of Social Welfare.
Pune 27: Necessary preparations are being made by the administration for the planning of the historic victory pillar greeting program at Koregaon Bhima in the district and Social Welfare Commissioner Dr Prashant Naranware reviewed the preparations.
For the first time, the state government has entrusted the responsibility of planning this program to the social welfare department. For this, a temporary administrative committee has been formed under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh and under the control of the Social Welfare Commissioner. The District Collector has appointed coordinating officers of various departments for the planning of the program. Social Welfare Commissioner Dr Naranware reviewed the preparations made by these officers.
At this time, Police Department, Zilla Parishad Department, Public Works Department, PMPL, State Transport Corporation, Food and Drug Administration, State Excise Department and District Information Office have been reviewed and instructions regarding planning have been given.
For the first time, this program is being organized by the government and in order to make the program a success, all the departments should complete the work on time in coordination with each other. Naranware said. He also said that all arrangements have been made by the government to provide necessary facilities to the followers who come to greet Koregaon Bhima and also to hold the event in a peaceful atmosphere.

Union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athavale also reviewed the measures being taken by the administration in connection with the greeting program at the Government Rest House and directed the officers present to make necessary arrangements.
