Relaxation in restrictions in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad metropolitan areas; Citizens should strictly follow the Corona Vigilance Rules

All shops in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad metropolis are allowed to remain open all day from morning till 8 pm. Hotels will also be open until 10 p.m. The mall has also been allowed to open following Corona rules. However, only those who have taken both doses of the corona vaccine will be allowed to enter the mall. Although shops and hotels are allowed to operate full time, strict restrictions will be imposed if the positivity rate goes above seven per cent, so citizens need to be careful. Strict adherence to the Corona Vigilance Rules is essential to ensure that even if the number of victims is reduced, it will not increase again. Citizens should cooperate for this, appealed Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar today. The decision was taken unanimously in a meeting chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
A review meeting on Corona situation and measures in the district was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in the hall of Divisional Commissioner’s Office, Pune Council Hall.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that restrictions have been relaxed in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad metropolis, but level three regulations have been implemented in 13 talukas of Pune district from Monday. The rural morbidity rate is 5.5. But there is level 3 instead of 4. In Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad metropolis, although relaxation is being given, everyone should take care that the corona will not grow. The prevalence is 3.3 in Pune, 3.5 in Pimpri-Chinchwad and 5.5 in rural areas. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also clarified that once the rate of rural morbidity is brought under control, there will be relaxation.
In making any decision regarding the Pune district, decisions are taken taking into account the views of all. Considering the views of all of us, the restrictions are being relaxed, said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He also gave instructions to the system.
Hotels and restaurants are allowed to start at 50 per cent capacity, and corona testing is mandatory for mall staff every 15 days. Hotels in rural areas will remain open only till 4 pm, said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
