Governor honours women, social workers.
Mumbai: Patient service is a sacred service. Success is assured when we dedicate our service to the Infinite Powers. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari congratulated the women doctors for their social work, saying that research should be done while working in the medical field with a sense of belonging.
At Raj Bhavan today, MediQueen, an organization working for women’s health, honoured women doctors who have been doing social work across the state at the hands of the Governor.
On this occasion, the governor was speaking. The event was attended by Dr Prerna Beri-Kalekar, President, MediQueen, Sandhya Subramaniam, Head, Women Empowerment, Govardhan Eco Village, and Prajakta Shah, Secretary, MediQueen.
Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that MediQueen’s work on women’s health was commendable as its motto was ‘Women’s Health’. Their work is being carried out in terms of physical, mental, social and economic empowerment and the progress being made by women in every field is an indication that the era of motherhood will return to society.
Success is guaranteed if you work with dedication and dedication while working in any field. At the same time, more research is needed in the medical field, said Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
22 women doctors including Jyoti Sul of Latur, Jaya Jane of Shirpur, Komal Meshram of Wardha, Meenakshi Desai of Mumbai and Smita Ghule of Pune were felicitated with certificates and badges.
