The 11th Triennial Convention of Sahakar Bharti Maharashtra Pradesh is being held at Shri Kshetra Alandi, Fruitwale Dharamshala Hall and the convention will be inaugurated on Saturday. It will be held on October 2 at 11 am in the presence of RBI Director Satish Marathe, Commissioner of Co-operation and Registrar Anil Kawade, MLA Haribhau Bagde and National General Minister Dr Uday Joshi. The two-day convention will feature discussions on various topics related to the co-operative movement, said Sahakar Bharti Maharashtra Pradesh President Dr Mukund Tapkir, General Secretary Vinay Khatavkar and National Publicity Head Bhalchandra Kulkarni here today.
On the first day of the convention (October 2) at 5.30 pm, former Assembly Speaker and First General Secretary of Sahakar Bharati MLA Haribhau Bagade will be honoured with the late Madhavrao Godbole Memorial Award. Gadkari will be auspicious. The prize consists of Rs. 51,000 in cash, insignia, shawl and coconut. Minister of State for Co-operation Balasaheb Patil, Minister of State for Co-operation Vishwajeet Kadam, BJP State President MLA Chandrakantdada Patil, MLA Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, President of Patsanstha Federation Kaka Koyte, Mayor of Alandi Mrs Vaijayantatai Umargekar etc. will be present on the occasion.
In the inaugural session of the convention on Saturday, October 2 at 11 am, Co-operation Commissioner Anil Kawade will give guidance on the current state of co-operation in the state and the expectations of the government. The seminar on Cyber Security and Cyber Crime will be held at 2 pm. The next day, on Sunday, October 3, at 11 am, Kamaltai Pardeshi of Ambika Mahila Udyog Sanstha will provide guidance on women’s self-help groups and co-operation, while senior advisor Sanjay Orpe and officials of National Co-operative Development Corporation will provide guidance on fruit and vegetable processing. In the concluding session on Sunday, Sahakar Bharti Maharashtra’s state executive for the next 3 years will be selected and this time it will be guided by Sahakar Bharati’s National Union Minister Sanjay Pachpore.
