‘Sarathi’ will be an autonomous body.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar announced to give autonomy to Sarathi Sanstha. He also said that Sarathi will provide the necessary funds to the organization to implement various activities.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar announced to give autonomy to Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Research Training and Human Development (Sarathi) Sanstha to provide training and development schemes to poor, needy Maratha youth as well as necessary funds for implementation of activities. 

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was speaking at a meeting with the delegation of the Maratha community led by MP Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati and the board of directors of Sarathi Sanstha at Government Rest House Pune. Ajit Nimbalkar, Umakant Dangat, Madhukar Kokate, Navnath Pasalkar, Managing Director Ashok Kakade and a delegation of the Maratha community were present on the occasion.    

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said Sarathi Sanstha is being given autonomy to implement various activities. Necessary funds will be provided for the empowerment of Sarathi Sanstha and various activities. Eight divisional offices and one sub-centre of Sarathi Sanstha will be started. An attempt is being made to start the first substation at Kolhapur from next month. Hostels for students of the Maratha community will be started through Sarathi in the educationally important cities of the state. Preference will be given to the youth trained by Sarathi Sanstha in the interest repayment scheme started by Annasaheb Patil Economic Development Corporation. The Sarathi Sanstha should prepare a department-wise action plan for the next three years. For this department, wise workshops should be organized. 

Sarathi will start eight divisional offices and one sub-centre.   

 

The first substation will be started at Kolhapur.

To provide employment-oriented training to the needy Maratha youth through Sarathi.

The closed activities of Sarathi Sanstha and some other activities are pending the approval of the government. As Sarathi is under the Planning Department, space will be provided for Sarathi representatives in each district’s planning building. The Taradoot project will also be launched. At the government level, efforts will be made to solve the educational and job-related problems of the youth of the Maratha community. Taking advantage of the autonomy given by the Sarathi Sanstha, efforts should be made for the development of the youth of the economically poor Maratha community. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also directed the Sarathi Sanstha to start employment-oriented training courses for the needy Maratha youth.  

MP Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati along with the delegation of the Maratha community had made various demands including autonomy and funding of Sarathi Sanstha. MP Sambhaji Raje expressed satisfaction over the immediate decision taken by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on most of the demands.

सारथी संस्थेला स्वायत्तता देण्याची घोषणा उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी केली.  तसेच सारथी संस्थेला विविध उपक्रम राबविण्यासाठी आवश्यक निधी देणार असल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले. 

छत्रपती शाहू महाराज संशोधन प्रशिक्षण व मानव विकास (सारथी) संस्थेला गरीब, गरजू मराठा तरुणांना प्रशिक्षण व विकास योजनांचा लाभ देण्यासाठी तसेच उपक्रम राबविण्यासाठी आवश्यक निधी देण्यासह सारथी संस्थेला स्वायत्तता देण्याची घोषणा उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी केली. 

खासदार संभाजीराजे छत्रपती यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील मराठा समाजाचे शिष्टमंडळ व सारथी संस्थेचे संचालक मंडळ यांच्यासोबत शासकीय विश्रामगृह पुणे येथे झालेल्या बैठकीत उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार बोलत होते. यावेळी सारथी संस्थेचे अजित निंबाळकर, उमाकांत दांगट, मधुकर कोकाटे, नवनाथ पासलकर, व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक अशोक काकडे व मराठा समाजाचे शिष्टमंडळ उपस्थित होते. 

उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार म्हणाले, सारथी संस्थेला विविध उपक्रम राबविण्यासाठी स्वायत्तता देण्यात येत आहे. सारथी संस्थेचे सबलिकरण व विविध उपक्रमासाठी आवश्यक निधी देण्यात येणार आहे. सारथी संस्थेचे आठ विभागीय कार्यालये व एक उपकेंद्र सुरु करण्यात येणार आहे. पहिलं उपकेंद्र कोल्हापूर येथे पुढील महिन्यापासूनच सुरु करण्याचा प्रयत्न आहे. राज्यातील शैक्षणिकदृष्ट्या महत्त्वाच्या शहरात सारथीमार्फत मराठा समाजाच्या विद्यार्थी, विद्यार्थींनीसाठी वसतिगृह सुरु करण्यात येणार आहे. सारथी संस्थेमार्फत प्रशिक्षण घेतलेल्या तरुणांना अण्णासाहेब पाटील आर्थिक विकास महामंडळामार्फत सुरु असलेल्या व्याज परतावा योजनेत प्राधान्य दिले जाईल. सारथी संस्थेने पुढील तीन वर्षाचा विभागनिहाय कृती आराखडा तयार करावा. यासाठी विभागनिहाय कार्यशाळा आयोजित कराव्यात.

सारथी संस्थेचे बंद असलेले उपक्रम व काही उपक्रम शासनाच्या मान्यतेसाठी प्रलंबित आहेत त्यांना मान्यता घेवून उपक्रम सुरु करण्यात येणार आहे. सारथी ही संस्था नियोजन विभागाच्या अंतर्गत असल्याने प्रत्येक जिल्ह्याच्या नियोजन भवनमध्ये  सारथींच्या प्रतिनिधींसाठी जागा देण्यात येणार आहे. तारादूत प्रकल्पही सुरु करण्यात येणार आहे. शासनस्तरावर मराठा समाजाच्या तरुणांचे शैक्षणिक व नोकरीसंदर्भात असलेले प्रश्न सोडविण्यासाठी प्रयत्न केले जातील. सारथी संस्थेने दिलेल्या स्वायत्तेचा लाभ घेवून आर्थिकदृष्ट्या गरीब मराठा समाजातील तरुणांच्या विकासासाठी प्रयत्न करावेत. गरीब गरजू मराठा तरुणांना रोजगारभिमुख प्रशिक्षण देण्यासाठी सारथी संस्थेने त्याप्रमाणे प्रशिक्षण अभ्यासक्रम सुरु करण्याचे निर्देशही उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी यावेळी दिले. 

खासदार संभाजीराजे छत्रपती यांनी मराठा समाजाच्या शिष्टमंडळासह सारथी संस्थेच्या स्वायत्ता व निधीसह विविध मागण्या केल्या होत्या. त्यातील बहुतांश मागण्यांवर उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी तात्काळ निर्णय घेतल्याबद्दल खासदार संभाजीराजे यांनी समाधान व्यक्त केले.
