South Africa lead India by 27 runs in the first innings of the Johannesburg Test.
Johannesburg: India has a 58-run lead at the end of the second day of the Test between India and South Africa in Johannesburg. By the end of the second day’s play, India were 85 for two. KL Rahul (8) and Mayank Agarwal (23) were dismissed. Cheteshwar Pujara was on 35 and Ajinkya Rahane was on 11.
Earlier today, on the second day of the match, South Africa started their innings with a score of 35 for 1.
With the exception of Ilgar and Peterson scoring 74 for the second wicket and Temba and Kyle adding half-centuries for the fifth wicket, the African batsmen were bowled out at regular intervals.
However, with the score moving, South Africa was able to take the lead over India in the first innings. South Africa returned with 229 runs.
