Take action to expedite the audit of Covid bills – Instructions from Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
MUMBAI: Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope has directed private hospitals to expedite the audit of bills charged to Covid patients.
Representatives of Corona Single Rehabilitation Committee and Public Health Mission made presentations to Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope on various issues. After that Mr Tope gave these instructions.
Public Health Mission was presented by Dr Abhay Shukla. He discussed various issues such as women who have lost their husbands due to covid, extra bills charged in private hospitals, time is taken for audit in private hospitals. Mr Tope said that according to the survey conducted by the campaign, the pending bills will be audited. For this, the number of auditors will be increased, he said.
MP Sule asked the concerned Municipal Commissioner and District Collector to take prompt action regarding the bills of private hospitals of Covid patients pending due to lack of audit in Pune, Nashik.
Representatives of Jan Arogya Abhiyan were present on this occasion.
