Teachers should provide quality education to students – Minister of State Abdul Sattar.

Five lakh households have been completed in the state under the ‘Maha Awas’ scheme, the work of three lakh households is in progress.

He was speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of Kolha-Bhagwatipur Zilla Parishad Primary School building and commercial complex building in Rahata Taluka of Ahmednagar district on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at the hands of Minister of State Abdul Sattar on the principle of ‘Build-Use-Transfer’. MLA Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Zilla Parishad member Shalini Vikhe Patil, Rahata Taluka Panchayat Samiti chairperson Nanda Tambe, Shirdi mayor Shivaji Gondkar and Annasaheb Mhaske were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Shri. Sattar said that developing schools on the principle of ‘build-use-transfer’ is an innovative concept. Such developers should be assisted by local villagers. The government is trying to make every poor man’s dream of a rightful home come true. In the next few years, the government plans to build eight and a half lakh houses for all sections of the society through the ‘Mahawas’ scheme. Out of which 4 lakh 97 thousand houses have been completed so far. The remaining 3 lakh households are in progress.

The houses of the beneficiaries in the ‘D’ list for Gharkula will be given priority. Sattar said this time. The Government of Maharashtra has set up a committee to study the measures taken by the Delhi Government in the field of education and health. Sattar gave this time.

MLA Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said, “The project will be built on the principle of ‘Build-Use-Transfer’. Kolhar-Bhagwatipur Zilla Parishad School has a long history. The first primary school was started here in 1956. The school was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister in 1963. Zilla Parishad schools are undergoing transformation and the number of students is increasing. This is the fruit of the hard work of all the teachers, said Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil.

On this occasion, Minister of State Abdul Sattar planted trees in the school premises under the ‘Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan’. Also, Dhangarwadi Gram Panchayat office bearers were felicitated for the best Gram Panchayat State Awas Yojana under Dorhale Gram Panchayat, Ramai Awas Yojana, which got the first number in ‘Mahawas Abhiyan’ (Rural). Vinod Bhausaheb Parkhe from Loni Budruk was honoured in the Best Housing Scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Kamal Gangadhar Borse from Loni Budruk was honoured in the Best Housing Scheme under Ramai Awas Yojana. Awas Yojana at Loni Khurd under Best Cluster Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Wakadi Gram Panchayat under Ramai and Shabari Awas Yojana, Sindhutai Tribal Shelter Housing Society at Loni Budruk under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana were honoured as the best housing complex.

Rahata Tehsildar Kundan Hiray, Group Development Officer Samarth Shewale and Public Works Department officials were present on the occasion. On this occasion, the headmistress and teachers of the school were felicitated by the Minister of State.
