Pune: Under the social justice department of the state government, the process of giving free admission to the students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Special Backward Classes, Handicapped, Orphans etc. for 2021-22 has been started in the Government Hostel for Backward Class Meritorious Children at Pimpri-Chinchwad.Social-Justice-And-Special-Assistance-Department

For admission, the student should be a non-resident of Pune but studying in a college in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Moshi Pradhikaran. Last year’s pass mark, caste certificate signed by the competent authority, father’s income certificate signed by tehsildar, Maharashtra residence certificate, bonafide certificate of college, Aadhar card of son and father, attested copy of ration card should be attached with the application.

There should be a written consent form of the father/beneficiary regarding Covid-19 disease. The application must also be accompanied by a written guarantee from the headmaster or principal regarding the actual operation of the school or college.

The government hostel offers free accommodation and meals. The amount and monthly subsistence allowance for books, other educational materials etc. at the rate fixed by the government; The amount of Rs.800 / – is credited to the savings account of the student with the Aadhaar number.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, only 50 per cent of the vacancies will be filled. Hostel Superintendent MD Waghmare has appealed to the poor budding students studying in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Moshi Authority area from outside the village to come and register in the hostel to fill up the application.
