The campaign ‘Jijau te Savitri-Sanman Maharashtra Lekincha’ in all schools in the state from 3rd to 12th January.
Mumbai: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rajmata Jijau Maa Saheb and the birth anniversary of the first female teacher Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, various educational programs for students and teachers will be implemented in all schools in the state under the campaign ‘Jijau to Savitri-Sanman Maharashtra Lekincha’. School Education Minister Prof. Varsha Gaikwad has appealed to all students and teachers to participate in this campaign. He also said that the guidelines and rules regarding Kovid should be strictly followed during the campaign.
The birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, the first female teacher who laid the foundation of women’s education by overcoming many difficulties, is celebrated on January 3. Her birthday is also celebrated as Women’s Education Day. The events in the biography of Rajmata Jijau, who portrayed Shivaraya as a brave, mighty, courageous warrior, are inspiring to create an ideal of wise parenting in front of society. With the aim of inculcating in the minds of school children the values necessary for a successful life, Various educational programs will be implemented from 03 to 12 January 2022. It will have the active participation of schools, students, parents, people’s representatives, dignitaries from various fields and society. Also during the campaign period, various activities will be implemented for the education of out-of-school girls.
In this connection, further educational programs will be organized for the students of different classes from 03rd to 12th January 2022 at the school level. On Worship of the image of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule as well as the image of Rajmata Jijau Mansaheb on 3rd and 12th January respectively, Savitribai Phule on 3rd January and costumes on 12th January, Health check-up of students on 4th January and Menstrual management awareness session for teenage girls on 5th January. Essay Writing, Success Stories / Interviews of Successful Women on 6th January, Anandnagari Exhibition on 7th January, Painting and Fort Sculpture on 8th January, Povadagayan and Group Singing Activities on 10th January, Lectures and Seminars on 11th January, Solo / Monologue on 12th January Plays will be organized.
