The examination of the health department was postponed.
Dr Archana Patil, Director, Health Services, informed that the written examination in Group C and D of the Public Health Department of the State Government has been postponed. She clarified that the written examination has been postponed in the interest of all the candidates as every candidate who has filled the application should get the opportunity to sit for the examination as per the principle of natural justice. The exam was held tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.
Dr Patil said that an agreement was reached with Nyasa Communication Pvt. Ltd. to conduct this examination. The company has been selected by the OMR Vendor Panel of the General Administration Department (Information Technology) of the State Government on 21st January 2021. A comprehensive test was conducted on behalf of the department to assess the competency of all the companies in this panel. Nyasa Communication Pvt Ltd, which came first in the test in the government-appointed panel, was contracted to do the recruitment work. As per the terms of the agreement, the health department was only responsible for confidentially transferring the set of question papers to the company. The company was tasked with developing a website for the recruitment process, inviting online applications, issuing tickets to candidates, acquiring schools and colleges, arranging meetings, conducting written examinations, and compiling merit lists. However, despite all the cooperation of the health department, Nyasa Communication Company has failed to issue admission cards to all the candidates who have applied and to arrange a meeting. The directors of the company expressed their inability to take the exam at 7 pm today due to incomplete preparation for the exam. So the exam was postponed.
Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope held discussions with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to conduct the examination after ensuring that all the applicants got admission cards. The decision was then made. The decision to postpone the examination has apologized for the mental distress caused to the candidates. This examination will be conducted soon after the pre-preparation of all technical matters. The scheduled date of the examination will be informed to all the candidates through the website of the department, e-mail, SMS, Dr Patil clarified.
