Instructions to raise awareness about vaccination of children, adherence to Covid rules.
Mumbai: As the number of Corona patients is declining, discussions were held in the meeting of the task force regarding the extension of restaurant and shop hours in the state. It was also decided to allow dry rides in the open space in the amusement park. It was decided later on about the water rides in the parks. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Members of the Children’s Task Force were also present. Amusement parks will also open from 22 October.
Apart from Covid, the number of dengue and chikungunya patients is on the rise and adequate attention should be paid to their treatment, he said.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr Thackeray said that we are gradually relaxing the restrictions and the number of patients seems to be decreasing. We are also starting cinemas and theatres from 22nd October. There is a constant demand for the extension of hours of restaurants and shops. Therefore, instructions have been given to prepare guidelines for extending their times.
Regarding the vaccination of children, the Chief Minister also instructed the Public Health Department to stay in touch with the Center to make the vaccine available and to plan for the immunization once a decision is taken in this regard.
Though the second wave has subsided, the danger of the third wave is still there and it is very important to wear regular masks, keep a safe distance and keep your hands clean, said Chief Minister Mr Thackeray.
The Chief Minister also said that new experiments are being carried out in the world for the treatment of coronavirus and in the case of new drugs, their effectiveness, price, availability should be kept informed from now on and they should be kept in touch with the concerned.
