Pune: The Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (GST) department has arrested a trader for making false payments of over Rs 200 crore. Aftaf Mumtaz Rehmani was produced before the court and remanded in judicial custody for 14 days, the state tax officer, Pune, said in a press release.

Similarly, without the direct supply of any goods and services from the bogus company to avoid paying this tax; Received a refund of about 27 crores 7 lakhs from the bogus purchase payment shown. Following the discovery, the state Goods and Services Tax Department filed a case.
