The number of citizens who took both doses in the Corona preventive vaccination campaign has gone up to one and a half crore; Maharashtra is the leader in the country.
About one million citizens were vaccinated during the day yesterday. 
Maharashtra has been performing vigorously in the Corona Prevention Vaccination Campaign and so far 1.5 crore citizens have been fully protected by giving both doses of the vaccine. Maharashtra has the highest number of citizens completing both doses. Yesterday, the state recorded a record number of vaccinations, and the public health department has done an unparalleled job by vaccinating about one million people in a single day.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope have congratulated the health system on the fact that the number of people in both the doses of a corona vaccination campaign in Maharashtra has gone up to 1.5 crores.
More than 10 lakh vaccinations can be given daily, according to vaccination statistics in the last few days. The efforts made by the officers and staff of the health department for this are certainly commendable, said Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
Earlier, on August 14, 9 lakh 64 thousand 460 citizens were vaccinated, but breaking this record, the state had vaccinated 11 lakh, 4 thousand 464 citizens, on August 21 and recorded a record performance. Since then, yesterday (27th) a large number of 9 lakh 90 thousand have been vaccinated.
