The results of the by-election for three Municipal Corporations held on 21st in the state have been declared.
The results of the by-election for one vacant post of each of the three Municipal Corporations held on the 21st in the state were announced yesterday. BJP’s Pradip Pardeshi has won the by-election of Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation Ward No. 9-C by 517 votes. He defeated Suresh Tiwari of Mahavikas Aghadi.
In Dhule Municipal Corporation, Aarti Arun Pawar of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party defeated Anita Sanjay Deore of Mahavikas Aghadi.
In the by-election of Nanded Waghala Municipal Corporation Ward No. 13A, Congress’ Muskana Syed Wajid defeated AIMIM candidate Reshma Beg.
In the Dhanki Nagar Panchayat by-election in Umarkhed taluka of Yavatmal, BJP has won both seats. Earlier, these seats were held by Shiv Sena.
Earlier, the winning candidates of Shiv Sena in Wards 12 and 13 had to lose their corporator posts due to the non-submission of caste certificates on time.
The by-election results of four gram panchayats in Purna taluka of Parbhani district were announced yesterday. Polling was held on December 21 for one seat each in four gram panchayats namely Sonkhed, Narhapur, Runj and Deulgaon Dudhate.
