Musician Sudhir Phadke’s melody and Prabhakar Jog, who accompanied him on violin, have been a unique gift for many generations. Prabhakar Jog was the ideal of how to be a true seeker in the field of music. The Chief Minister has paid a heartfelt tribute to veteran musician Prabhakar Jog, saying that the music industry will no longer lack his vocals and guidance.

“With the demise of veteran musician, famous violinist Prabhakar Jog, the great artist of Indian music has passed away. His violin playing has been a delight to singers for over six decades. The late Sudhir Phadke and Babuji’s songs in ‘Gitaramayana’ were accompanied by his violin. He was a magician who had mastered the art of playing the violin. His demise is a great loss to the state’s music and art scene. I pay a heartfelt tribute to him, ”said Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, expressing grief over the demise of senior musician Prabhakar Jog.
