Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Rajesh Tope appealed to the people to get vaccinated by participating in the National Vaccination Program. Citizens should not have any worries while getting vaccinated. He said that he would focus on the promotion and publicity of vaccination.
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Rajesh Tope inaugurated the newly constructed hostel building at the National Cold Chain Resource Center in Pune and inaugurated the Cold Chain Equipment Testing Laboratory. He was speaking on the occasion. At this time, the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council, Dr. Neelam Gorhe was present through an online meeting. MLA Dilip Mohite, MLA Chetan Tupe, Additional Chief Secretary of Public Health Department Dr. Pradeep Kumar Vyas, Commissioner of Health Services and Campaign Director Dr. Ramaswamy N, Director Dr. Archana Patil was present.
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr. Tope said that the National Cold Chain Resource Center has been set up as a joint venture between the State Government and the Central Government and is the only center in the country. The resource center will provide various technical assistance to the government for the successful implementation of the National Vaccination Program across the country. The Resource Center will play a vital role in formulating policies and guidelines for cold chain management and will be represented nationally and internationally. International, national-level workshops have been organized to keep the center up to date. Scientists and technicians from different states of the country will come for training at this center.
Mrs. Gorhe, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Council, said that the National Cold Chain Resource Center is a historic milestone in the health sector. Pune is known globally as a major center for vaccination. The center has been set up in compliance with the standards of the World Health Organization.
Mr. Tope, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare presented NABL Certificate to the Department of Public Health and also published a booklet on Oxygen Management.
Initially, the Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Tope inspected the National Cold Chain Resource Center and Cold Chain Equipment Testing Laboratory.
