Victory Pillar Greetings Program at Perne Fata: District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh reviewed the planning.
Pune: District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh in a meeting held at the District Collector’s Office reviewed the facilities and planning to be provided to the citizens who come to greet the Victory Pillar at Perne Fata in Haveli taluka on January 1, 2022.
The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner of Police Dr Ravindra Shiswe, Superintendent of Police Dr Abhinav Deshmukh, Resident Deputy Collector Himmatrao Kharade, Superintendent of Engineers Atul Chavan and others.
District Collector Dr Deshmukh said that a large number of people come on January 1 every year to pay their respects at the Victory Pillar at Perne. Last year, on the backdrop of Covid-19, the number of citizens coming to greet was limited as per the guidelines of the government. Considering the possibility of more citizens coming this year, the concerned agencies should make necessary arrangements immediately. Care should be taken to ensure that the work is done on time by inspecting the work to be done with the concerned officers and employees of the department.
District Collector Dr Deshmukh was also directed to complete the necessary works like the transportation system, lighting system, road repair, electrical system etc. immediately. He also said that a meeting will be held soon with various organizations regarding the planning of the program.
At this time Dr Shiswe and Superintendent of Police Mr Deshmukh also gave instructions regarding planning. The meeting was attended by the chief officers of various departments.
