Voter registration facility also through ‘True-Voter’ mobile app.
Mumbai: The True Election Voter Mobile App of the State Election Commission will now be able to register the name in the voter list of the Assembly constituency, informed the State Election Commissioner U. P. S. Madan gave here today. 
Mr Madan said that the True-Voter Mobile App has been developed for the purpose of providing facilities and information to the voters, candidates, political parties and the electoral system regarding the local body elections. Through this app, voters can find their name in the voter list with various facilities. It has now added a voter registration facility. Voter registration will be done through the link of the Election Commission of India’s Voter Registration Website. Voters’ names or addresses can also be corrected.
The Election Commission of India is implementing a special brief review program till November 30, 2021. On this occasion, eligible citizens who have completed 18 years of age on January 1, 2022, have the opportunity to register as voters. Following this event, the final voter lists of the Assembly constituencies will be released on January 5, 2022. The same voter lists will be used in the 2022 local body elections. Therefore, more and more eligible citizens should register their names or if there is any change in their names or addresses, they should do the same, appealed Mr Madan.
