Ahmednagar: – Drinking water scheme is being sanctioned for the citizens of Parner town from the backwater of Mula dam and the electricity bill of this scheme should be paid regularly, stated Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar at Shri Kshetra Pimpalner.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inaugurated the renovation of Vitthal Rukmini Temple, the residence of Saint Nilobaraya at Shri Kshetra Pimpalner in Parner taluka. He was speaking while guiding the audience at the event held at that time. Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil, Zilla Parishad President Rajshri Ghule, MLA Nilesh Lanka, Chaitanya Maharaj Deglurkar, District Collector Dr Rajendra Bhosale were present on the occasion.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar further said that Maharashtra has a long tradition of saints. The Warakari sect has a great contribution to the saint tradition. Saint literature is your spiritual treasure. Saints have taught human welfare and Maharashtra is following this path. This tradition should be continued by all.
Instructed to complete all the procedures related to the water supply scheme approved for Parner city immediately. Pawar said this while addressing the gathering. Shri Kshetra Pimpalner has got fame as Pratipandharpur. He said that Rs. 50 lakhs would be provided from the Tirthakshetra Vikas Yojana for various development works in the Sant Nilobarai temple area.
Appreciating the social work done by MLA Nilesh Lanka during the Corona period, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawar appealed to all to strictly abide by the preventive rules issued by the government and take both doses of Corona preventive vaccine.
Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil appealed not to believe any rumours. He also said that the government is committed to maintaining law and order in the state.
Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat said that the place of Shri Nilobaraya in the tradition of saints is very important and all are equal and there is no discrimination between them.
MLA Nilesh Lanka in the introduction informed about the proposed schemes at Shri Kshetra Pimpalner. He said that development works in the Parner area should be sanctioned and funds should be made available for it.
Shri Sant Nilobarai Abhang Gathe was published by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. At the beginning of the program, the Minister visited the Samadhi of Saint Nilobaraya. The event was attended by a large number of villagers and devotees.
