The Chief Minister reached Taliye village around 2.15 pm today. Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde, Guardian Minister Aditi Tatkare, Relief, and Rehabilitation Minister Vijay Vadettiwar, Transport Minister Anil Parab, Milind Narvekar, MP Sunil Tatkare, MLA Bharat Gogavale, Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte, and District Collector Nidhi Chaudhary were present on the occasion. The Chief Minister reached the spot after waiting in the mud in heavy rain.
As soon as Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray arrived at the spot, locals and administrative officials informed him about the incident. The Chief Minister listened to the locals. He comforted them and reassured them.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray visited Taliye village at Mahad and interacted with the media representatives present. He said; This is what happened. Let’s rehabilitate them properly. In view of such incidents, plans will be made to relocate the hilly and coastal settlements. In western Maharashtra also, river water rises during monsoons and floods occur. Water planning needs to be done to find a way out of this, a water plan will be prepared accordingly.
